Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of dermatologists, medical and surgical oncologists, and genetics professionals.

Educational Objectives

Upon proper completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify high-risk individuals who are appropriate candidates for genetic counseling and testing.
  • Evaluate the role and process of genetic testing for hereditary melanoma.
  • Explain the cancer risks, surveillance and medical management for hereditary melanoma patients.

To receive a CME certificate of participation, participants should:

  • Complete and submit the online posttest and evaluation. You must answer at least 70% of the posttest questions correctly to earn credit. You will have unlimited opportunities to successfully complete the activity. Once you have achieved a score of at least 70%, the rationale for each corrct response will appear.
  • A certificate of participation will be available for downloading/printing immediately following your successful completion of the posttest and evaluation.

There is no fee required for participation in this activity.
